We re-defined the role of the investing app Peaks to fit the reality of French and Spanish households, as the start-up was scaling beyond central european borthers. My role was to create and plan market and user research, conduct consumer interviews and generate action-driven insights from them. I was also leading communications and PR efforts.
The result from some of this work was a new sign up flow for spain and france, reducing drop offs by 62%, which was later on optimized for Germany and France using the same process. We also changed the approach, language and PR/comms. angle to fit the new countries’ feelings towards money.
I secured media coverage across tier 1 european media talking about Peaks (El Pais, Gazette, NOS, etc.) Our CEO was established as thought leader in the space and we were featured on many sites and relevant mediums as we moved through the scaling up.
